WHAT ARE TREERINGS?
Treerings are compact fertiliser rings that provide precision fertiliser placement, optimising the nutrition of trees/shrubs to enhance their growth and stimulate flowering. Place a Treering around the base of a tree/shrub and it will nourish the plant for up to 12 months, slowly breaking down into the soil naturally.
WHAT ARE TREERINGS MADE OF?
Treerings are enriched with a custom blend of nutrients and trace elements for plants, trees and shrubs, promoting vigorous growth and assisting to improve the soil. They're made up of locally sourced re-purposed materials, including horse manure and recycled paper. We also have the ability to create custom rings to cater to soil needs or specific plant species, such as roses. Ask us how!
ARE TREERINGS ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY?
Yes! Not only are Treerings made up of mostly re-purposed materials (typically waste products), they naturally degrade into the soil. With every decision we make, we consider its impact on the environment. Treerings are packaged in bio-degradable cling wrap too!
WHERE CAN TREERINGS BE USED?
Treerings have been proven to be beneficial in gardens, orchards, roadside plantings, plantation forestry and mine site rehabilitation projects.
In council bushland trials, survival rates increased from around 30% without Treerings to approximately 75% with Treerings. In large-scale mine rehabilitation trials involving over 2,000 planted tubestocks, plants with Treerings achieved survival rates of up to 95%.
HAVE TREERINGS BEEN TRIALLED OR TESTED?
Yes! Treerings have been evaluated across a range of field and commercial trial sites in different soil types and growing conditions.
These trials have shown improvements in plant establishment, vigour and nutrient uptake efficiency compared to standard fertiliser practices.
DO YOU OFFER BULK SUPPLY OR CUSTOM FORMULATIONS?
Yes! Treerings can be supplied in bulk and formulations can be tailored depending on crop requirements and project scale.
The customised Treerings manufacturing system enables scalable production, with capacity of up to 1 million Treerings per year per machine, allowing the ability to support both smaller projects and large-scale commercial or rehabilitation programs.
ARE TREERINGS LOCALLY MADE?
Yes! Treerings is proudly owned and operated in Western Australia and is a family business. All of the natural ingredients and re-purposed materials come from nearby WA suppliers, with the recycled paper donated from friendly locals, vet clinics and childcare centres. Nothing is imported from outside the state.
IS IT A SMELLY FERTILISER?
Treerings have no smell!
Even though Treerings are largely made up of animal manure, our carefully considered manufacturing process eliminates the smell, so you won’t have a smelly backyard after fertilising!
HOW LONG DO TREERINGS LAST?
Treerings are densely compacted, therefore last up to 12 months. They will gradually breakdown into the soil over this time, but it means you only need to fertilise your garden trees/shrubs annually! If you don't need to install all your Treerings at once, as long as they're kept dry (in the garden shed or an enclosed garage) they have great shelf life till you're ready to use them.
